Product Description

An exciting and thoroughly well-written adventure from Steve Turley. When a U-boat is sunk off the coast of Corsica in 1943, it takes with it a mysterious cargo which was being secretly transported under SS guard. Mike Summers, a technical diving expert, has his life thrown into chaos when he accidentally discovers wreckage from the U-boat and crosses swords with a notorious Corsican nationalist leader, resulting in the death of his friend. The race to discover the motive for the killing takes a deadly turn when Monica, a beautiful Swiss marine archaeologist, is kidnapped by the gang. Mike knows they are both likely to die unless he can use his superior knowledge of deep wreck diving to save them both and bring the perpetrators to justice. Review

Another compelling read by Tony Groom. Thank God he’s turned his considerable writing skills to fiction this time, because the plot is chillingly realistic. In this page-turning novel Groom is writing about what he knows. An exciting plot is all the more believable because it’s grounded in his experience and the realism shines through every page. A great plot with a realistic cast of characters and a ‘hero’ whose flaws make him utterly believable – I can’t wait for the sequel. –Navy News

Product Description

NEW ACTION HERO IS IN2DEEP In2 Deep is a new type of action thriller, and from a new author who knows about what it is like to be under fire. Like Bravo Two Zero, In2Deep is the direct result of the author’s combat experience. Unlike Bravo Two Zero, In2Deep is a stylish and action-packed thriller with a nautical setting. In2Deep is fiction, but reads like fact, and that is because of the author s hands-on experience of being at war. This ingenious tale of technological terrorism at sea races along at the speed of a ski-jet, and the plot by fundamental extremists to bring death to millions in Europe is chillingly feasible. Like the author, In2Deep protagonist Nick Carter is a former RN diver. Like the author, Nick Carter knows about sailing, diving and the sea – and so is more than well-equiped for action beneath the surface when battles take place. In 2 Deep is written in a direct and engaging style, which embroils the reader inside a breathless adventure on, in, and under the waves.
